Big ideas in Gary Soto play

Good morning children! I am so happy with the work that we are doing in our class. We are learning a lot of fascinating things reading this play together.Early, in our first period. We found the big ideas of the play Novio.So, I want to ask you this question: Do you think one of the big ideas of this play is friendship? If so, can you provide evidence from the text?

    Yes, this play is about friendship. Because, Rudy and Alex are best friend they are together in the beginning of the play and in the end of the play. (scene 1, scene 7 ).

    I like GARY SOTO because he puts a lot of details when he describes people and places.One thing that is helping me to learn more English is that he uses sophisticate words.For example today I learn the word conspicuous.
