Hero or criminal?

Dear Class,
A sign of a good book is when the characters are complex and hard to classify. Johnny certainly is a difficult character to label. We saw him doing a terrible thing on chapter five and now in chapter six he redeems himself. Based on our reading : Do you think Johnny is a hero?

    Dear Teacher,
    In my perspective Johnny is a hero because he risked his life by entering a church in flames.

    I think johnny is a hero because he saved the kids from the fire. and even though he didn't know any of them he gave his life to save theirs.

    In my opinion I think johnny is a hero because he saved many children from burning in a fire on a church. He risks his life going through the cinders and ember of the crumbling church.

    Hero or criminal?
    I strongly think that Johnny is a hero because he risks his life to save the children that where trap in the church in flames.
    Johnny didn't feel defeated when he was going trough the cinders and ember of the crumbling church but instead he felt good for once on because since his parents neglected him, from the moment he saved does kids he considerate him self as a hero.

    Dear Teacher: In my opinion johnny is a hero because, he helped the children from the fire in church and he risked his life to help them.
    He was feeling afraid, but that didn't prevent him from saving the children. Johnny demonstrated that he has great courage, and a beautiful heart. He is willing to help others without receiving anything in return.

    I strongly believed that johnny is a hero.How do I know this?.I know this because he save 4 kids at the church that was burning.He saved Ponny from the socs.After reading I conclude that Johnny is a brave kid. Base on all of my evidence I conclude that Johnny his a hero.

    From my point of view I think that johnny is a hero because he saved kids from getting burn inside the church. I strongly believe that he is a hero because he put his life in danger to save others. However, johnny is a criminal because he killed Bob from the other gang. Some people think that gang members are bad but johnny is still a good guy because he saved kids. After he went to the hospital he die cause of the burn injuries. Adolfo Jacobo 721
